7 Summits Extreme

The idea of the “7 Summits of Graz” - to climb the highest elevations in the city and the surrounding area - has been generating great enthusiasm since the beginning of the sports year. Not only initiator Klaus Höllbacher has already climbed the 7 Summits, hundreds of Graz residents have already followed suit. Höllbacher has already managed all 7 summits in one day - just like the trail runner Tom Wagner, who ran the 7 summits in an incredible 6,33 hours: see report of the Kleine Zeitung. We take our hat off to that!

The 7 Summits are not about the fastest time, but about the experience. We have it a little differently with them "7 Summits Extreme" seen - because from the original idea we formed a competition that particularly excited extreme athletes and those who are hungry for exercise. More than 100 participants were on the road between April 26th and May 16th and climbed the 7 summits in one day - either in the combination bike / on foot or just on foot.

We congratulate all participants on this great performance - you are all winners for us! 😉
