WOMEN'S POWER in the Graz sports world -
A tribute to all the women in charge, functionaries, referees, athletes and trainers in this city

In the Graz sports year 2021, in September, under the motto “LET'S GO! LADIES ”, all about women in the sports world.

An exhibition on Graz's Mariahilferplatz gives an insight into the variety of tasks and functions that women already take on in sports in Graz. It makes no difference whether they act as chairpersons, functionaries, referees, athletes or trainers - the women of our society play an essential and increasingly important role in the complex structure of sport.

LET'S GO! would like to bring these women even more to the fore, because sport is not just a man's business. Women should be motivated to take on tasks and functions in sport. Women have just as much power as men and men need to be made aware of opening doors to women.
Far too often, however, only men are in the spotlight, even though countless important background activities are taken on by women and sport has always been a togetherness. Therefore, in the course of this campaign, all chairpersons, functionaries, referees, athletes and trainers are placed in the front row as role models and other women are encouraged to get involved in sport.

Many thanks are due to all women who take on a role of whatever kind in sport. Over 250 women contributed to this campaign with a photo of themselves and thus became part of LET'S GO! LADIES. They and their important activities in sport are presented in the course of this campaign.
The LET'S GO! Graz is committed to equality in sport, wants to make the Graz sports world a little more feminine and hopes that all participants in the Graz Sports Year 2021 will do the same.
