We are proud of the commitment and creativity of the Graz sports clubs! Around 200 projects from 150 clubs have arrived, here you can find an overview of the events that are planned for this sporting year. Of course, the COVID19 regulations do not make our planning life easy - March and April became the months of everyday exercise and individual sport. All events that were planned in March and April will take place during the year!

GUG Gymnastics Union Graz

A little introduction to the cool world of American street dance: called HIP HOP.

Have you always wanted to try out cool dance moves?

Gymnastiksport Union Graz, GUG for short, shows how you can become a cool HIP HOP dancer. We rehearse a casual dance in 4 units. As a souvenir, there will also be a photo with a cool dance pose for you at the final demonstration.

Afterwards: Immediate entry into the HIP HOP course is possible from 9 or 12 years of age.

Interested parties aged 4-9 can come to us for training on 14 Mondays in March and try out HIP HOP in the Unionhalle (Gaußgasse 3, 8010 Graz): 9 to 11 years from 16 to 17 p.m., 12 to 14 years each from 17 p.m. to 18 p.m.

GUG Gymnastics Union Graz

A little introduction to the world of show dance.

GUG Gymnastics Union Graz

A short introduction to the world of rhythmic gymnastics (RG)

Have you always wanted to artfully fly a ribbon through the air or see a glitter suit?

Gymnastics Union Graz, GUG for short, shows how you can become a hand-held dancer. In 4 units we study a small exercise and try our hand at the hoop, ball and tape hand-held devices. As a souvenir, there is a photo with a hand-held device for you and at the end a demonstration together with our competitive gymnasts.

Afterwards: Immediate entry into RG beginners or hobby groups possible.

2 courses: 5-7 years and 8-10 years, every Wednesday in March from 16.30 to 17.30 p.m. in the Unionhalle (Gaußgasse 3, 8010 Graz)

General gymnastics club Graz

Every late Saturday afternoon in March there is a two-hour sports acrobatics workshop on the main square with hands-on stations for all ages. The ATG sports acrobats then present a spectacular show. The workshops are alternately supervised by children, fun acrobats, adults, hobby acrobats, competitive and competitive athletes. The aim is to make sports acrobatics better known and to encourage people to participate and move.

Specialist group for leisure and sports businesses - dance schools

From January onwards, multipliers (companies, clubs, schools, institutions, etc.) will be distributing “collective passes” from the Styrian Dance Teachers Association. This allows interested parties to visit the participating dance schools in Graz and attend a dance lesson of their choice every week free of charge. For each visit there is a stamp of the respective dance school, each week has a different focus.

In addition, every Saturday there should be dancing together in a public square (e.g. Schlossbergplatz, Generalihof, Augarten, Mariahilfer Platz), at the end of the month the participants will be rewarded with the most stamps.

Grazer Akrosphere - Association for the promotion of acrobatics

A three-day festival is intended to provide an insight into the (circus) acrobatics world. The festival, consisting of numerous workshops and a concluding open stage, is aimed primarily at people who want to get their first experience in partner, air and ground acrobatics, prerequisites are fun in movement and the curiosity to get to know something new. Workshops are held in the aerial silks, hoop and trapeze disciplines as well as various partner acrobatics.

Graz Chess Society

All Grazers are invited to a competition on 20 fields on one day in March from 64 a.m. to XNUMX p.m. on Murinsel. The venue in the middle of the Mur was chosen deliberately.

The participants are registered (name, district) and, regardless of age or gender, play a time game on one of the ten boards against an opponent from the other bank of the Mur, who is drawn. Each player can play a maximum of three games. At the end of the competition, chess packages will be raffled off to people who come from the victorious banks of the Mur.

General gymnastics club Graz

Grazers of all ages are welcome to get to know and try out rhythmic gymnastics and aesthetic gymnastics at a kind of “hands-on art exhibition” on the main square.

The individual hand-held devices of the sports are presented at six stations, while experts demonstrate simple handling of the devices and short choreographies. The aim is to convey that, even without any previous experience, you can quickly learn simple manipulations with equipment and light dance choreographies and have a lot of fun in the process.

KiTuSa Kinderturnen Sabine - General Gymnastics Club Graz

Apparatus gymnastics and parkour demand extreme motor skills from children and are great foundations for all other sports. The movement patterns are so different that there is a motor development of the body in many ways.

Twice 20 children should have the opportunity to test their athletic skills in two courses over five days each. A hall full of gymnastics equipment should enable them to improve their strength, stamina and ability and to develop self-confidence with regard to their physical capabilities.

Graz outdoor workout sports club

Encounters should be encouraged in an uncomplicated and individual way through joint, low-threshold exercise outdoors. The offer is aimed at young and old, regardless of whether you participate in sports regularly or are just starting out. As part of the project, functional fitness, aerobics, yoga and Pilates courses are to be offered several times a week in order to generate long-term motivation for regular physical activity.

The voyeur

As part of a three-day workshop, three selected, internationally active teachers bring the participants closer to their personal Capoeira teaching. The Brazilian fight dance is suitable for every age group and promotes physical and mental well-being in equal measure. Components of the workshop include extensive coordination exercises, training in balance, acrobatic movements, dance elements, practicing long sequences of movements (movement memory) and improving the ability to improvise.

TSC The ONE

Breaking - formerly known as breakdancing - has been recognized as a sport that is widely considered too tough for girls for almost two years. Difficult moves are not learned with two attempts, but with hard work over months and years. TSC The ONE organizes a taster weekend for girl breaking with one of the most famous and experienced breakers in Austria - Daniela Schwarzbach-Itandehui aka Dani Cell. As a "role model" in the breaker scene with appearances at a variety of events, television and film productions, she not only shows cool moves for girls, but also tells about her story as a dancer.

Association Jukus - Association for the promotion of youth, culture and sport

Two afternoons are planned (four units of three hours each with three trainers), during which the ECHO youth center will become a kind of “breakdance playground”. This is designed in such a way that the young people can determine for themselves how much they want to learn, e.g. B. whether it should be individual characters or a whole choreography, whether you want to continue working on skills you have brought with you or whether you want to learn something new. Since the youth center offers a lot of spatial possibilities, this free, individual workshop design is possible without any problems.

TSC The ONE

Footballers in the top leagues regularly take dance and ballet lessons to learn more about their bodies. The result is better agility, faster reactions and thus better players.

Basic ballet exercises, stretching exercises and balance training for boys between the ages of eight and twelve should appeal to a new target group and take away the fear of dance in the form of ballet. The clothing is deliberately kept general and must by no means be seen as “boys in tutu” Termination: in March as part of the dance month and in June as part of the football month, with a football course lasting 60 minutes each offered once a week during these months becomes.

WIKI Kinderbetreuungs-GmbH "Funhall"

The project aims to convey the special characteristics of trend sport to children and young people from Graz who have hardly had any contact with it or who have difficulty motivating themselves to exercise. Trend sport is omnipresent, shows with innovative forms of movement, is popular, gender-unspecific, intercultural and simply “cool” among young people. As part of two-day scooter, BMX, skate and roller skate workshops, the kids can get to know the techniques of these sports.

Wiki Kinderbetreuungs GmbH (Outdoor Youth Center EggenLend)

Young people get the chance to let off steam in four organized units in the trampoline park, to exceed their limits and to train their body awareness. Trampoline jumping is not only fun, it is also very good for the back muscles. A professional trainer ensures the safety of the young people, gives them tips and also teaches them trampoline tricks.

UTSC Dance Unity

The extraordinary project tries to break through linguistic and cultural barriers in a dance and playful way. Children between the ages of seven and ten are invited in ten units of 45 minutes each to relieve uncertainty in contact with foreign cultures by moving together to music.

It's cool man

In Austria - in contrast to Italy or South America - the dancing man is still the exception, dance is often ridiculed. In addition, breaking is more likely to be associated with boys, hip-hop almost exclusively with girls.

TSC The ONE is organizing a workshop weekend for boys and is bringing one of Austria's best players back to Graz. Alex Tesch aka loftex, a hip-hopper who studied dance in Africa, Sweden and Salzburg, should show the young boys what dance and what hip-hop mean and how cool this sport can be for boys too.

UTSC Dance Unity

Tournament dance consists of five Latin and five standard dances. The aim is to bring these dances closer to the children of Graz in a playful way. At the same time, dancing should be combined with learning a new language. The aim is to convey simple, everyday Italian vocabulary.

Lessons are given by a competition dancer who has studied Italian for teaching and can therefore teach dance and language, starting with the right tonality and extending to the didactic basics. In ten units of 45 minutes each, the course should offer a varied mixture of language and dance.

Union Dance sports club Choice Styria

In kindergartens, elementary schools, lower grades and in assisted living facilities in Graz, a dance trial lesson is to be held every March day. The young and the young at heart from Graz are motivated to take part - with the aim of finding a sport that they will also practice over the long term.

In children body awareness and coordination skills are trained, for the older generation, the simultaneous activation of both halves of the brain contributes significantly to improved mobility and general dementia prevention.

UTSC Dance Unity

The aim of the project is to get more children, and especially young boys, excited about (dance) sport through the additional idea of ​​competition. It is aimed at kids between the ages of seven and ten years, the course is set up with ten units of 45 minutes each, and as a conclusion and highlight, a trial tournament is on the program.

Austrian Children's Friends, Styrian Regional Organization

Under the motto “Movement is a common strategy”, children, young people and families meet on the area of ​​the Wetzelsdorf local group, if possible outdoors, for a “chess rally”. On a Sunday, this should be combined with workshops (the Saturday before), which, in addition to chess, teach a healthier lifestyle with regard to nutrition. This should go hand in hand with a joint purchase (farmers' market) and preparation of the groceries.

Another workshop aims to teach children and young people how to properly prepare for a (chess) competition.

Boxing club boxers forge

Fitness boxing 50Plus is a classic boxing training without full contact. In addition to strength, endurance and flexibility, reaction and concentration are trained, and coordination skills are particularly challenged and promoted. In order to meet the requirements of the age group, all exercises are adapted accordingly. Also for non-mobile people, e.g. B. in retirement homes, regular units should be held on site.

Cyclists often lack the knowledge of routes, shortcuts and roads with little traffic around and in Graz. Tours, divided into black, red, blue and green routes, similar to the ski run system, are created. Expanded with different routes for mountain bikes, racing bikes and e-bikes, the project also fulfills a purpose for the future. Supplementation by individual district rounds, which each Graz district can work out independently, is possible.

Lebenshilfe Soziale Dienst Gmbh - Tumawas Freizeitassistent

People with disabilities want to do sports, experience joy, belonging and fun in joint sporting activities and want to try new things. Together with Graz sports clubs, at least four half-day integrative taster workshops are offered to get to know the following sports, to which access for people with disabilities is still rather difficult: rowing, golf, karate, crossfit and capoeira.

Trampoline and Freestyle Club Graz

Trampoline jumping is a young and dynamic sport that almost every child loves. As part of the project, passers-by should not only be able to marvel at Austria's top trampoline jumpers, it should also be used to draw attention to the ten rules for safe trampoline jumping. Those interested can try jumping on site under the supervision of trained trampoline instructors. Safe landings and the playful learning of how to fall correctly on the trampoline are practiced.

Sportunion Graz Gladiators - 1st Lacrosse Club Graz

In April 2021, public pop-up trainings are to take place at frequented places in downtown Graz and address everyone who happens to pass by and who fancy lacrosse and a little exercise. Four lacrosse trainers or experienced players, equipped with equipment, beach flags and advertising materials, will be available as contact persons for several hours and will introduce passers-by to the basics of lacrosse.

For those who get a taste for it, there will also be the opportunity to take part in one of the open club training sessions for free throughout April.

Rugby Club Graz

On two Fridays, the participants should get to know rugby on Viktor-Franz-Platz under the guidance of three coaches for three hours each as a contactless “stop & go” sport. The target group is everyone from the age of seven and rugby skills are not required. TAG rugby strengthens hand-eye coordination and focuses on running and passing. Basically, I want the initiative sport to be made palatable to me as a leisure activity in general.

Sportunion Graz Gladiators - 1st Lacrosse Club Graz

Players of the RC Graz and the Graz Gladiators accompany all interested parties between two and 99 years of age in the state sports center Graz through the day full of rugby and lacrosse with target kicking and target shooting, intercrosse, touch rugby and a lot of tricks by the professionals. Basic techniques are taught and short show games show what the two sports are all about. Existing equipment invites you to take part in a game yourself or maybe just throw a few balls with the club members.

Union Squash Club 2000

 The idea behind this international squash competition is to unite the nations bordering Austria in and with sport. A trial competition for beginners, a children / youth competition and a competition for adults will be held at the same time.

In the trial competition, children and young people who have only recently got to know this sport on the squash court of the Styrian Squash Rackets Association or Racketlon Association can play.

Andritzer for Andritz, an association for the care of customs, art, culture and sport

The aim is to show the people of Andritz on one day how many sports there are in the entire district and to give them the chance to “sniff” at the sports facilities of the respective clubs. The possibilities are diverse and range from golf to archery, Anglo-American sports and paddling on the Mur to tennis, beach volleyball and horse riding. The participants should find out where which club has its sports facility and what is on offer there; the sports facilities should be visited on foot or by bike if possible.

Specialist group for leisure and sports businesses - dance schools

On this day, “dance steps” are to be sprayed onto asphalt or pavement in the city center, after which passers-by can simply dance steps themselves. Graz dance teachers will also encourage local people to try out these steps. In addition, a demarcated dance area is to be set up on the main square, where those interested can create step sequences themselves and paint them with street chalk. The target group are children and young people as well as couples, solo and single dancers, senior citizens and people with special needs.

 

Graz Cricket Club (GCC)

Over a period of four weeks, schoolchildren are taught basic cricket skills by trained trainers in ten school classes of all school levels and forms as part of several training units. The project is to be concluded with a youth tournament in the "round robin" format (everyone against everyone). The organization of further tournaments with youth teams from other federal states is also possible. The training and the tournament are carried out with soft balls and light youth clubs.

Badminton Club Smash Graz

The project aims to offer children who already play badminton in elementary school or in a club the opportunity to let their parents get a taste of this sport or to motivate parents who already play badminton to motivate their children. A joint tournament is a very special experience for both sides.

Any pairings can take part thanks to adapted game rules: children with parent / grandparent / aunt / uncle or big brother / sister, depending on the constellation, a certain handicap is awarded (points advantage depending on the age difference in the children and depending on the playing strength of the parents).

Badminton Club Smash Graz

If the people of Graz don't come to sport, sport comes to the people of Graz. On Saturdays in April, one or two badminton courts will be set up in some shopping centers in Graz (depending on the possibility). In addition to a program in which Styrian top and young players demonstrate the sport (singles, doubles with referee), there is also enough time to play and get to know the sport. At the same time, these events offer an opportunity to advertise the international tournament in May 2021.

Vamos Unidos

In cooperation with clubs, associations and public bodies, children and young people between the ages of six and 16 with a migration background are to be looked after and supported individually or in groups with parents / relatives. Active participants are not only trained trainers or instructors, but everyone who enjoys tennis, is involved in their free time and would like to work with kids with a migration background.

Baseball club Dirty Sox Graz

By organizing an international baseball tournament in Ballpark Weinzödl, which can be used by the participating clubs as a preparation, the level of awareness of the sport is to be increased, the fascination of the sport of baseball conveyed and new members recruited. With daily challenges and prizes like at the fair (target throwing, quick throwing, etc.), the sport should be brought closer to the people present.

The target group is not restricted to gender or age groups - there is a corresponding offer for baseball and softball in all age groups.

Spielberg Graz Giants project - 1st American Football Club in Graz

For a whole morning, school groups / school classes can visit the Spielberg Graz Giants project in the ASKÖ Stadion Eggenberg (alternatively also in the school's own gym) and get to know the sports of American football and cheerleading.

The trainers will supervise the students in the station operation, the children can try out different aspects of the sports. There will also be large blow-ups such as field goals and throwing walls.

The entire program is accompanied by music and speakers.

Spielberg Graz Giants project - 1st American Football Club in Graz

The Spielberg Graz Giants project bring variety to everyday school life! We come straight to the students in school and turn the children into real Giants. A double hour of fun, games and action. We offer an exclusive insight into football and cheerleading, explain the basics, do a warm-up together and then everyone can decide for themselves which sport they want to try.

Badminton Club Smash Graz

Nobody should be excluded from this team championship. The only condition is that there is something that binds the team together. That could be the common employer, the common field of study, the same parish, a senior group, the same piano teacher, the same youth group, etc., the unifying element should emerge from the name of the team, each team must contain at least one lady.

A rough performance classification should be achieved in preliminary round groups; in the final rounds, the winners are then determined in at least two performance classes.

Association IKS + Styrian Tennis Association

With the “Inclusion Cup Graz”, a new and inclusive tournament format is being generated, in which people with and without disabilities can play tennis together and against each other thanks to the level of play based on ITN values. Single and double matches are planned on two to three dates, as well as a kind of exhibition with prominent people from sports and / or politics, as well as a final Masters with an overall ranking. Center Court, Straßgang Pokorny tennis center and Pichlergasse sports center are planned as venues.

In addition, trial workshops in the field of wheelchair tennis and tennis are offered for people with intellectual disabilities.

Grätzel initiative Margaretenbad

In April and from the beginning of school until the end of October, i.e. before and after the opening hours of the Margaretenbad, the Grätzel is played with different sporting focuses, the center being the pool with its infrastructure. Table tennis (April), mini golf, boccia (September) and Taekwondo (October) are being considered. The Grätzelcommunity initiates at least one or two sporting activities per week in the form of courses or competitions, according to its motto “From neighbors for neighbors”.

This basic program is accompanied by yoga, TaiChi and other exercise offers.

European Racketlon Union and Styrian Squash Rackets Association

The racket sports table tennis, badminton, squash and tennis are to be presented in the public space for a week. The fair forecourt, the main square or a popular park are considered as locations. Children should be able to try out all kinds of sports, while tournaments in squash, outdoor badminton and touch tennis are planned for adults. These should also be used to advertise the squash and racket sports facilities in Graz and the Racketlon World Cup from August 20 to 29, 2021 in Vienna and Graz.

SV LUV Graz Wetzelsdorf Section Tennis

To stimulate the popular sport of tennis, a series of tournaments was launched in the Graz area in cooperation with several large clubs (Union Wirtschafskammer / UWK, TC LUV, UTC Stattegg and Grazer Tennisclub / GTC). This offers all tennis players the opportunity to compete in nine different competitions with players of their skill level (ITN) as well as with stronger players. Any donations or surpluses from the event will be used for charitable purposes (e.g. Club Styria).

Grätzel initiative Margaretenbad

SU TRI STYRIA

In May there are 2 triathlon workshops for amateur athletes at the Schwarzl Leisure Center. This is a fun trial workshop for endurance enthusiasts.

There is also a running workshop with Eva Wutti and Tri Styria coaches in Graz, where you can improve your personal running technique.

Roller Derby Graz

In a first part, this project aims to promote the relatively unknown sport of roller derby and to remove the first obstacle to taking part, namely the relatively expensive equipment, to interested people. Therefore, a stick of rental equipment is to be acquired with this project.

The second part is about creating awareness for this sport. A public game and a boot camp are planned to inspire the audience. Experienced trainers from Vienna Roller Derby will be on site and teach both beginners and advanced riders.

Orienteering Club (OLC) Graz

The international orienteering federation (IOF) is holding the "World Orienteering Day" for a whole week in May 2021. People all over the world can participate. The aim of the project is to offer trial competitions for several schools in Graz for ages 10-14 this week. For this purpose, the existing orienteering maps in inner-city parking areas in Graz are to be updated.

The introductory training courses are laid out on a low-threshold basis and are supervised by several trained orienteering instructors, instructors and trainers.

1st ESV Straßgang

In May, the first ice rifle club, Straßgang, organizes a stick sport event where young people and adults can try their hand at Spangerl shooting and target shooting. This is intended to arouse interest in stock sport and possibly win new members for the club.

ASKÖ Regional Association of Styria

In May 2021, driving technique training for (e-) mountain biking will be held in the ASKÖ Sportcenter Graz-Eggenberg. This trend sport has met with great approval in recent years. The training should also convey safety and solid driving technique. In addition, the formation of driving groups is stimulated, which enables social networking for shared sporting experiences.

ASKÖ Styria

Children between the ages of 4 and 10 can take part in this children's cross-country event. Each run is accompanied by speed runners and animated by the Hopsi Hopper mascot. The whole family can try their hand at the following activity park at the supervised interactive stations.

In addition, the supervisor team will provide information during the event about the various exercise and sports offers of the Hopsi Hopper project in Styria.

Deaf Sports Association, Culture and Youth Center Graz

Deaf athletes from all over Austria compete against each other in the championships in single and double competitions. There will be competitions for women, men, mixed and also for children.

The aim of the event is the mutual exchange and enjoyment of the sporting competition. The organizers of the two-day event are the Deaf Sports Association Graz and the Austrian Deaf Sports Association.

Graz outdoor workout - sports club

Running together outdoors and exploring beautiful Graz - that is the aim of this project. For young and old, more exercise, community and health should be offered.

In May, regular running training and running workshops are offered for the people of Graz. These are looked after qualitatively, are effective and should be fun.

GRÄB - Graz Roller Board Aesthetics Association

A competition for the best local skaters will be held in May to present the sport in a spectacular way. A theme weekend “Skating in Graz” is planned for this.

The Lendplatz is one of the best spots for skating in Austria with its anti-terror bollards. Therefore, on day 1, the greatest of the Austrian scene are invited here to compete.

The location for the second day is the main library of the KF-Uni. The participants will show their best tricks over different heights here.

A jury will decide on the distribution of the prize money.

Orienteering Club (OLC) Graz

By means of an orienteering program (MapRun), Graz residents and visitors can get to know Graz with a digital map.

Different stations (e.g. famous sights) have to be visited and this visit registered with the smartphone.

Orienteering races are still known with analog maps. This project offers a digital orienteering to get to know the city better.

Prizes are also awarded.

Austrian Children's Friends Regional Organization Styria

Exploring and discovering your own Grätzel or your own district is part of everyday life for many children. However, there are places in your own environment that have not yet been discovered or that offer many exciting experiences from a different perspective.

In the course of this project, the Wetzelsdorf district is to be explored and rediscovered with children aged 8-14 years and with educational support. Natural history is of great importance for understanding our world and can therefore be promoted at an early stage.

Austrian Alpine Association - Section Graz St.GV

This project addresses children, adolescents and adults with and without physical, psychological or mental handicaps who want to get to know each other in order to climb together. Due to the legal regulations, children and young people can only take part in the campaign with a parent or legal guardian.

There are weekly appointments where the participants can climb together. Trained staff from the Alpenverein Graz ensure a professional framework.

SC Highlanders

Inline skate units for beginners and advanced skiers take place on four dates in May. Trainers accompany the participants at different locations in Graz.

In order to be independent of the weather, a covered area is also planned as an alternative.

The prerequisite for participation is the availability of the necessary inline skate equipment.

Sports Connect

After the national games and the Austrian championships, the Panther Cup is the largest event of Special Olympics Austria. Over several months, more than 20 teams from all federal states - divided into two regions (south and west) - contest their football tournaments and determine their winners there at various levels.

This project is also intended to encourage people to deal with the topic of intellectual impairment and football.

In order to bring the topic of football closer to people with disabilities, there will be a skills competition in which the sport will be introduced through trial and error and informal participation, so that you can become active yourself in the future.

Styrian Triathlon Association

The aim of the project is to get children and young people excited about the sport of triathlon. The beginners' course for people between the ages of seven and 50 takes place at the same time as the professional fencer training. Squats are one of the most important exercises in training. They are used with great success in rehabilitation, fitness sports and competitive sports.

In October 2021, 20 squats per person will be performed at defined locations at a specific time. The Motor Activity Training Program (MATP) is aimed at people who are unable to participate in the regular Special Olympics competitions due to their impairment. The MATP is about exercises that train the flexibility, perception, coordination and self-conquest of athletes with high and highest support needs. An event is to take place in which the aim is to present MATP and to train interested parties so that they can become active in their clubs. A MATP competition is planned to give groups who are already training the chance to present their skills to a large audience. On the other hand, there will be a "Come and Try" event in which the focus is on trying things out.

The natural spaces in the city of Graz are to be presented as a versatile movement environment and awareness of the need to protect these spaces is to be increased. The target group are beginners and advanced learners between the ages of six and 40.

The natural surroundings such as trees, rocks, hills, slopes and water are used in the "forest sports" tree climbing, parkour and cross running as a movement environment for a diverse repertoire of activities. By means of workshops and challenge days, natural and sustainable sporting activities are to be conveyed in urban areas.

Eight cycle tours, each lasting four hours, are planned for the months of May and August 2021 around the theme of the respective sports month. During the sports tour, stories about the topic of "Sport in Graz" are told in an entertaining way and sports clubs are introduced. They should also have the opportunity to present themselves. The aim is to convey the desire for cycling and sport to interested participants and at the same time to offer exciting information about the diversity of the sports city of Graz.

Yacht club Odysseus Styria

The aim is to arouse young people's interest in sailing between the ages of twelve and 16. On eight weekends (16 days, daily at least three hours of sailing in theory and practice), the basic terms should be imparted, previous knowledge expanded and the young people directed towards competitive sport / regatta maturity. Ten identical dinghies are used for this purpose, an e-motorboat accompanies the training, and a two-day regatta concludes.
