Easter has to be celebrated a little differently again this year, because keeping your distance is still the order of the day. Movement is still possible, especially with the family or with people who live in the same household. That is why the Easter Bunny has come up with something very special this time: the “sportiest Easter egg hunt” that has ever taken place in this city.

The fun campaign runs from Easter Saturday to Easter Monday (9 a.m. to 17 p.m.) and will delight young and old alike. 15 Easter eggs (about ½ meter large panels) are hidden in the entire city park. One letter is printed on each board - a total of 15 letters that, in the correct order, result in a solution word. On www.letsgograz.at/ostereiersuche there is also a collective pass and an orientation card on which you can enter the letters. The (hopefully correct) answer is then sent to [email protected] and you take part in a competition: 50 family entries to the CoSA or FRida & FreD are waiting.

The orienteering club Graz (www.olc-graz.at) has put a lot of effort into this in the last few days and designed its own orientation map. So the sporty factor is not neglected either, because if you look for and find all the stations, you cover a distance of one to two kilometers on foot. And do something good for his body! “Everyone can take part in this campaign, whether young or old. It's not about who is the fastest either, but the focus is on having fun and finding all the eggs and letters, ”explains City Councilor for Sports Kurt Hohensinner, “It's an ideal way to stretch your legs on the Easter weekend.” Program coordinator Markus Pichler adds: “With this idea, we naturally thought very specifically of children and families. With the OLC Graz, we have also brought professionals on board when it comes to orientation, it has become a great club project. I'm sure: With the map it will be easy to find all the stations. ”And if you look very closely, you might even discover“ real ”eggs at the stations, because Easter eggs are also produced in“ Let's-Go-Graz ”- Design hidden.

With all the fun and enjoyment - Hohensinner and Pichler still point out the applicable regulations: “It's not a competition and it's not about winners. We therefore ask you to keep your distance at all times and to watch out for meadows and plants. "
